One filled a loft with stories and sculpture.
One handed me a paintbrush at twelve.
One said yes to the Getty.
Jason Kristofer is a creative director and brand strategist who builds brands with the kind of clarity that moves markets.
Raised in Brooklyn, he grew up surrounded by artists who treated creativity as daily ritual. Sculptor Ned Smyth, a family friend, showed him that creativity could be a path, not a pastime. He served as Keith Haring’s personal intern, helping paint a three-story Statue of Liberty banner and spending time in Haring’s SoHo loft, where process mattered more than polish. That’s where he learned how to create work built to outlast the moment.
His work now spans industries—fashion, film, wellness, tech. Clients range from cultural icons to high-growth startups. He doesn’t just make things look better. He builds the story, the system, and the foundation behind the brand.
He has spoken at OFFF in Sydney and led creative sessions at the Getty, bringing together artists like Shepard Fairey and Michael Muller. The work is rarely loud, but the invitations tend to come from people who are paying attention.
Today, Jason works directly with founders and executive teams who understand that branding is not decoration. It’s infrastructure.
